Living
Holy
Living Holy is a curriculum co-written by the Rev Stephanie
Mitchell, assistant to the Rector at St Luke's, and Twila Smith,
postulant for Holy Orders from St. John's - Norman, OK. It is
designed as a bridge between the Montessori-style Godly Play program
for younger children and the Journey to Adulthood series that
begins with Rite 13 for middle school-age. The children in
this in-between class are curious, thoughtful, and active
nine-to-twelve-year olds.
Stations
of the Cross
This version of Stations of the Cross was co-written by the
Rev Stephanie Mitchell and the Rev Amanda Akes in April 2011. It
incorporates a variety of images and artists, prayers, and scripture
to lead the journeyer through the final hours of Jesus' life. These
stations focus on Jesus' incarnational life and its promise to
restore humanity, rather than his sacrificial death.
